New Test Fee
Form the 1st of April 2008 Driving Standards Agency increased the fees for the Driving Theory and Practical Driving Test. Fees are set to increase from £28.50 to £30.00 for the Theory Test, an increase of £1.50, and the Practical Driving Test for learner drivers is set to increase form £48.50 to £56.50 an increase of £8.00.


New Highway CodeNew Highway Code
Driving Standards Agency have released there latest edition of the Highway Code. The Highway Code was first launched in 1931 - at the cost of one old penny - there were just 2.3 million motor vehicles in Great Britain, yet over 7,000 people were killed in road accidents each year. The new Highway Code is 50 per cent bigger than previous versions with 29 extra rules including a new section for people who use powered wheelchairs or mobility scooters.
